Maria's Place is a fabulous ground floor beach front apartment within a beautifully landscaped garden containing mature mandarin and lemon trees. Located right on the beach in an area of breathtaking beauty halfway between Gennadi Beach and Lahania Beach. This part of Gennadi Bay is fairly secluded even in the height of the summer season so most of the time the only sounds you will hear are the waves lapping on the shore and bird song in the garden's trees. This apartment is the perfect location for those wanting to get away from it all.

This fully equipped ground floor apartment has a double bedroom, bathroom, an open plan modern kitchen and living area with satellite TV and internet. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment can comfortably accommodate 2 - 4 people.

The beautifully landscaped garden has it's own path directly onto the beach and the al fresco dining area is attractively shaded by a pergola with a mature bougainvillea. The garden has an extensive "Mediterranean" kitchen for outdoor cooking, dining and living. Being right on the beach the apartment has awesome views that stretch across the length of Gennadi Bay to as far as Pefkos. A truly fabulous place to stay at anytime of the year.

Maria’s Place was great. The description was exactly how the place is. We had a lovely week at the end of April, going in the morning to visit the old places of Rhodes and in the afternoon we stayed at Maria’s. It is really quiet, you will only hear birds and the sea. You find below some tips for shopping because shops aren’t in the neighborhood. You can go eating out what we did the first day. The other days we prepared food on the excellent barbeque and made our own Greek salad. When we went to Rhodes City we did shopping at the LIDL and Carrefour. It is situated at the main road from Rhodes Stad to Gennadi (ASgourou, 8 km for Rhodes City). There is also a good butcher in Kiotari, a Carrefour Express and Coop (8 km from Maria’s). Bread we put in the fridge, so we had every morning a nice breakfast in the garden. So if you like a private quite place then Maria’s is. We will come back again!

Maria's place became "Our place" this summer. We spent ten days at the end of July and the beginning of August in this lovely beach apartment.
The beautiful, lush garden has a direct entry to the beach! Every morning we started our day with a swim in the crystal-clear sea and often we ended it in the same way.
In the midst of the summer holidays we had the beach and the apartment to our own.
In the charming apartment we found everything we possibly wanted or needed. Especially that what we needed most: privacy and a quiet, calm atmosphere.
You won't find a booming night-life in Gennadi (the village nearby) although there is a small beach club a mile away. There is a nice restaurant in Gennadi village that serves you the best stuffed tomatoes ever and other homemade Greek dishes. Go for fresh fish to Gennadi beach. We rented a car at the airport. We drove to Plimari where the fish came literally right from the sea on our plate and the little harbour is enchanting. Much to our surprise, Rhodes has also secluded, non touristic places. Especially in the south. Maria's place at Gennadi is one of them and one of the best. We couldn't have wished for more.
