Villa Rosila is located right next door to Villa Gemma, in Gennadi, midway between the beach and the village. It has stunning views of both the sea and the surrounding countryside. Villa Rosila has three bedrooms and sleeps six - eight people comfortably. This beautifully designed home is tastefully decorated.

On the ground floor there is a large sitting area with dining table and seating for eight people. This room also contains two comfortable bed settees, a TV, Dvd player and Cd player. This room has patio doors which open onto the beautiful terrace and gardens where the pool is nestled within a grove of olive trees. There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen containing a cooker, large fridge-freezer, washing machine and all the necessary crockery, cutlery and cookware. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and air conditioning. Adjacent is a shower room with toilet.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One has a full sized double bed, wardrobe and air conditioning. The other has two single beds plus wardrobe and air conditioning. Both have stunning views and private balconies. A fully fitted bathroom is also to be found on this level with a full size bath, sink, shower and toilet.

The pool area is furnished with sun beds, umbrellas and an outside shower. The patio has a BBQ and a stylish, comfortable table and chairs for al fresco eating.

Travel just 15km south along the coast road from Lindos and you will arrive in the stunning village of Gennadi. Active and vibrant, this village has a bakery, supermarket, restaurants and bars. There is a regular bus service that goes from Gennadi to the famous windsurfing spot of Prassonisi at the southern most tip of the island and to the cosmopolitan city of Rhodes and the Old Town in the North. Gennadi Beach boasts a vast coastline renowned for having the cleanest water in the Greek Islands. This is a truly magnificent and peaceful haven with waterfront tavernas providing the setting for both leisurely lunches and starlit dinners.

Our family stayed in Villa Rosila in May for two weeks and we weren't disappointed. The villa was very modern and was spotless. The rooms were all spacious and there was plenty of room downstairs to accomodate everyone. The outside space was ample, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers. The pool was gorgeous and very well looked after, a pool man came and checked it frequently.
Christine was a fantastic host and provided a welcome pack when we arrived and was on hand all the time if we needed anything, this included tourist and beauty info.
Gennadi is a very traditional village and there were plenty of bars and a reasonable food store and a wonderful bakery.
We hired a car as the airport transfer is approx an hour and fairly costly. The drive to Lindos from the villa was approx 20 mins, we didn't take any local transport but the buses were frequent.
Lindos is a beautiful place on the island (we actually got married there at a chapel in St Pauls Bay) and is a must to visit. The roadsare really quiet and there are so many beaches you can visit. On the way back to the airport we visited Rhodes Town which was lovely.
I would definetely recommend a visit, Rhodes will always have a special place in our hearts!!"
