"Just returned after a week spent in Tha Hill and it has been wonderful! The house is in the countryside and you reach it after an easy and short drive among fields with ancient olive trees. Sat at the table or lied in the sun beds under the wide porch surrounded by lavender blue and rosemary perfumes, the sight overlooks at all the coast below as far as Lindos promontory. The only magical sight of the moon or of the sun rising from the sea worths to stay there. In dark nights you can look at the sky crowded of shining stars easily lied on the sun beds in the solarium area. The house is furnished in a Greek country style, simple but personalized with stylish details or pieces of furniture.At the same time there’re all the required comforts: washing machine, dish-washing machine, a large fridge, TV and DVD reader. The house is secluded, but Lahania (the nearest village) can be reached in less than 5 minutes and Gennady (supermarket, bakery, ATM, medic,…) in less than 15 minutes, so if you’re looking for a relaxing accommodation in the country, quite different from usual holiday villas, Tha Hill is for you.As said I spent only a week, but it worths to stay a month!" Tha Hill is a traditionally styled Eco-Friendly Villa designed by one of the island's leading and most innovative architects. It is located on the hill top and surrounded by its own land just a short rustic drive from the charming and romantic village of Lahania.

The main house on the property has a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen and dining area and a beautifully decorated lounge with vast French windows looking out to sea and a traditional fireplace - all at ground level. Around two sides of the house there is a huge colonial style terrace veranda giving a 180 degree panoramic view of the coast line and surrounding countryside - fabulous both for sunrise and sunset.

Outside the house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped patio garden that has been designed both with thought for the natural beauty of the surrounding area but is also maintained using ecologically viable methods.

To one side of the patio is a separate annex with a double bed and carved stone work. The perfect retreat for the artist or writer.

Between the house and the annex is a small but very private dip pool.

Tha Hill is a beautiful romantic setting for individuals, couples or families with older children who want a secluded private haven to totally relax in. This self sufficient home is an experience waiting for you to live.

Lahania is known as the artists' village with creative courses held throughout the year. Please ask us for details. A small and quaint truly Greek village of great charm with local restaurants offering authentic Greek cuisine, a small shop and quiet bars. Located just off the main road that brings you from Rhodes Town in the North down to Prassonisi, the Southern most tip of the island. There is a huge and very safe beach located just 15 minutes drive from Lahania.
Prassonisi is the famous wind surfers' beach where the Aegean meets with the Med and is one of the island's most exhilarating and active areas.
Lindos, the world renowned World Heritage Site village that boasts its very own Acropolis, where you can wander through the cobbled streets soaking up the ancient history also has a mouth-watering selection of roof top restaurants and bars and even a couple of nightclubs.
Rhodes is a diverse island surrounded by breathtaking beaches, bays and historical areas. All are within a short drive from the haven of peace that is Tha Hill.

THA HILL GUESTS XX May, 2010:
This house has made us - 2 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 16 - very relaxed and happy. The view all around is really fantastic, the rooms are large, clean and homely, the beds are good, the kitchen is huge and very functional (big fridge). The patio-house is small but cosy to sleep in.
The owner has spent a lot of effort making all these lovely details: a beautiful library, a blue hamam-like bathroom, lots of towels, candles and relaxing patio-loungers, jasmine and lavender in the garden. We all loved the romantic scenery.
The beach - 20 minutes walk - isn't very nice to stay. Instead we preferred to go to The Mojito club (very nearby), Lindos beach or Prassonisi beach. Rhodos town - 75 minutes drive - is very nice to visit and has a good mix of old and new cultures.
In Lachania we had delicious and authentic meals at the Taverna Acropol with Papageorgiou. We can surely recommend this secluded place if you are looking for some peace and positive energy
